Stepping up for ovarian cancer research

The Great North Run, 2024, the UK’s biggest running event largest – and one of the largest half marathons in the world. Thousands of people run for great causes and we were happy to be part of it.

  • We laced up our running shoes to show our support in aid of ovarian cancer research.
  • We back causes that can make a real difference to lives.
  • Participating in a large community event strengthens our commitment to collective actions.

Scoring goals for Darlington's young adults

We recently sported our football boots for a 5-aside match to raise funds for FiveAcres in Darlington. This was in aid of developing its site to expand its services and create an even more supportive environment for young adults in the area.
  • We had a friendly but competitive match, all in support of a great cause.
  • We support local initiatives that uplift young people and our community.

An inspiring swim for the British Heart Foundation

We felt extreme pride supporting a former member of the WPS Advisory family who bravely swam the 1.4 miles between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

  • We are inspired and motivated by the dedication of people in our wider community who are committed to making a difference.
  • We admire the effort involved and continue to support such great individuals and causes.
  • The work done by the British Heart Foundation is crucial, and we were delighted to contribute to this fundraising effort.

Remembering and honouring our veterans at Wembley

To honour the sacrifices made by our soldiers, we take part in the yearly memorial event held at Wembley.

  • We believe it’s important to honour and support those who have served our nation.
  • This occasion demonstrates our gratitude and respect for veterans and their families.
  • For WPS Advisory, participating in this group gesture of remembrance is a meaningful ritual.

Making waves for SwimTayka across the English Channel

Our Non-executive Director took part in a challenging relay swim across the English Channel to raise money for SwimTayka, 2023. SwimTayka works to provide swimming education and water safety skills to children in disadvantaged communities around the world.
